Utility Bridge
A crossing that gives back.
A pedestrian bridge connecting the Carriageworks precinct with Redfern, conceived as both public space and local energy infrastructure. Solar harvesting and an exposed pipe network bring the distribution of heat and power into the everyday experience of crossing.

The project begins with a gap in pedestrian connections between Carriageworks and Redfern. The proposed crossing combines a public route with the collection and distribution of local energy.
